Provision regarding payment terms package travel agreement BOARDX
In the case of distance selling, the right of withdrawal applies: "The consumer has the right to inform the seller that they are renouncing the purchase, without payment of a penalty and without giving any reason, within 7 working days following the day of delivery of the product or the conclusion of the service agreement."
However, in accordance with Article VI.53, 12° of the Economic Law Code, distance contracts concerning services related to accommodation, transport, the restaurant industry, and leisure activities are excluded from the scope of the right of withdrawal under certain conditions.
Given the nature of the service provision and in accordance with the Economic Law Code and its implementing decrees, the following applies: The consumer does not have the right to withdraw from the purchase.
The agreement between BoardX and the booker is indicated in a booking made via the BoardX bvba website. The obligation to execute the contract arises at the moment the booker receives the booking confirmation of the booked trip and fulfills the payment obligations. The person who books the trip for other participants, also referred to as the main booker, is jointly and severally liable for all travelers he/she registers.
Regarding minor travelers, it must be demonstrated that one of the parents or guardians has granted permission. This permission is obtained by completing and signing the parental consent and medical form and the power of attorney form, which must be legalized at the town hall of the home city.
The prices are determined per destination on the website. The agreed price in the package travel agreement is - except for obvious material errors - fixed, and all mandatory services are included, except those that, according to local regulations, can only be paid in cash by the traveler on-site.
The prices explicitly state the services they cover, such as: accommodation in a hotel, apartment, camp, tent... with meals as provided in the program, round-trip transportation, transportation between the destination airport and the place of stay, the services of our representative on-site, VAT, ...
Not included, unless expressly stated otherwise, are: administrative costs, tourist taxes, costs for travel documents, visas, vaccinations, insurance, all personal expenses, tips, and excursions not expressly indicated as included...
Prices provided orally or over the phone by our reservation service are always subject to confirmation. Only written price confirmations are valid.
Payment is made according to the predetermined payment terms via the online payment platform Mollie, which accepts the following payment methods: Bancontact, credit card, mobile applications such as KBC Payment Button, Belfius Direct Net, ING Home'Pay, and iDeal. Bookings made after the predetermined payment deadline must be paid within 24 hours and will be automatically canceled if payment is not received within 48 hours.
If you have made your payment, the payment will be processed by the Payment Service Provider MOLLIE. After your payment, "STG MOLLIE PAYMENTS" will appear on your bank statement. This means that MOLLIE BV is responsible for handling your online payment. MOLLIE BV only handles the payment and has no influence on the delivery of the products or services you have ordered.
MOLLIE BV is a Payment Service Provider (PSP). As a PSP, MOLLIE enables us to offer various online payment methods such as iDEAL, Bancontact, Belfius Paybutton, and more. This allows you, as a consumer, to easily and securely make your online purchases in a reliable environment.
When you make a transaction via MOLLIE, you can be assured that it is secured in various ways. MOLLIE, as a Payment Service Provider, must adhere to strict rules regarding the security of transaction traffic.
MOLLIE uses SSL certificates, which means that your online transaction takes place within a secure web environment. You can verify whether the web page you are on is secure. If the webshop or Payment Service Provider (ICEPAY) link in your browser's address bar starts with "https://," you know that the page is secure.
After receiving the invoice/booking confirmation, a minimum deposit must be paid to confirm your booking. This deposit amounts to at least 15% of the total travel cost. Until this deposit is made, your booking will not be confirmed, and others who make immediate payment may be confirmed earlier until the trip is fully booked, and you will be placed on the waiting list.
The balance of the travel cost must be paid no later than the deadline indicated in the online order form. The full travel cost of winter trips and Family vacations must be paid 4 months (120 days) before the departure date. For bookings made within 4 months before departure, the entire trip must be paid immediately. The full travel cost of other surf vacations must be paid 3 months (90 days) before the departure date. For bookings made after the payment deadline, the entire trip must be paid immediately. Failure to pay the balance will result in automatic cancellation of the booking, and the paid deposit will be retained.
Addition or cancellation of an option by the traveler
After making a booking, the traveler can add an option or part of an arrangement up to two days before departure, provided it is available. BoardX charges €10 per invoice for an addition, plus the costs of the added option. The addition is confirmed by the sent invoice and included in the (new) order form.
After making the booking, the traveler can cancel an option or part of an arrangement up to 28 days before departure. BoardX charges €25 per canceled option/arrangement. The cancellation is confirmed by the sent invoice.
If the Traveler does not pay within the aforementioned or stated deadline on the order form, the Traveler is in default without further notice of default being required and is liable for the statutory interest on the outstanding amount from that point onwards.
The Traveler is obliged to pay extrajudicial collection costs if the Traveler has been unsuccessfully urged to pay within a period of fourteen days, commencing the day after the reminder has been received, stating the consequences of non-payment, including the exact collection costs demanded. The extrajudicial collection costs amount to 15% of the amount claimed up to €2500, 10% for the subsequent €2500, 5% for the subsequent €5000, and 1% for any amount exceeding that, with a minimum of €40.
If the Traveler is in default, the Organizer has the right to exclude the Traveler from participation. The obligation to make payment remains. Instead of excluding the Traveler from participation, the Organizer may cancel the Agreement and charge the Traveler the applicable cancellation costs.
For all BoardX vacations, a deposit must be provided upon arrival. The amount of the deposit varies per destination and is described in the practical information letter. This deposit will be refunded at the end of the vacation if the accommodation, equipment, and premises are found to be in order and left clean. The handling of the deposit is a matter between yourself and the accommodation provider or the tour leader. BoardX is not responsible if the deposit is withheld by the agencies/tour leaders. For each request to refund an uncollected deposit, BoardX charges €25 in administration fees. Complaints regarding withheld deposits will not be processed because it is not possible for the headquarters to assess the situation retrospectively.
Customized group trips, corporate trips, reseller collaborations, etc., follow the same payment conditions unless otherwise stipulated in the relevant contract.
3. CANCELLATION CONDITIONS
BoardX accepts cancellations via email. If you wish to cancel your booked trip, please send a cancellation email to info@boardx.be. The date of sending the cancellation email will be considered as the cancellation date.
Although unpaid bookings are automatically canceled after the payment deadline, we greatly appreciate it if you inform us as soon as you are certain you want to cancel your booking. This way, we can make customers on the waiting list happy with the available spot more quickly.
If so, you can cancel up to one day before departure, provided you have a valid reason (illness, accident, death within the family, retaking an exam), and you will receive a full refund of the travel amount minus the insurance cost. Send valid proof to info@boardx.be, and a cancellation file will be created with VAB, who will refund the total amount.
Note: In the case of retaking exams, the retake must occur during the week of your trip. A retake just before or just after your trip will not be considered a valid reason for cancellation.

JUNIOR/YOUTH/PLUS trips
If you cancel more than 12 weeks before departure, we will refund the full travel amount after deducting the deposit. However, if you cancel less than 12 weeks before departure, only a portion of the total travel amount will be refunded, and the following cancellation costs will apply:
FAMILY trips
If you cancel more than 16 weeks before departure, we will refund the full travel amount after deducting the deposit. However, if you cancel less than 16 weeks before departure and you have not taken insurance, the following additional cancellation costs apply:
To avoid these costs, it is recommended to take out cancellation insurance.
Trips booked with a voucher, promo code, or gift certificate will not be refunded in cash in case of cancellation but will be exchanged for a valid voucher, promo code, or gift certificate.

E. CAMP RULES PLUS SURFCAMPS (+18 years)
To ensure a pleasant stay for all participants, it is necessary to list and adhere to several rules. BoardX aims to provide young adults with a sports-oriented vacation. A fun mix of surfing, sports, sun, sea, and beach is complemented by enjoyable parties, but without excesses.
Smoking
Although the organization strongly discourages it, it is not prohibited to consume tobacco products. Cigarette butts should always be disposed of in ashtrays. It is strictly forbidden to smoke in tents (large and small), hammocks, vehicles, and buildings on the campsite. If smoking, vaping, water pipes, etc., disrupt the general functioning of the camp, restrictions may be imposed at any time.
Drugs
The possession and consumption of drugs are strictly prohibited. If anyone is caught with drugs, a disciplinary measure will be determined. Violation of this rule can lead to exclusion from the camp. Participants are responsible for both the arrangements and the cost of the return trip.
Alcohol Use
According to Belgian law, anyone aged 18 or older may consume alcoholic beverages, including fermented beverages (beer and wine) and distilled beverages (spirits, liqueurs, and other beverages containing distilled alcohol). BoardX will neither serve distilled beverages nor encourage their consumption, but it cannot prohibit the consumption of spirits. However, it is prohibited to participate in water sports activities after consuming alcohol.
In case of excessive alcohol use and crossing boundaries, BoardX will always intervene.
Serious violations of this rule can lead to immediate exclusion from the camp. Participants are responsible for both the arrangements and the cost of the return trip.
Going Out
Going out is permitted at the designated times. BoardX organizes numerous evening activities and regularly provides the opportunity to go out. Participants will be accompanied to and from the location, and if necessary, transportation will be provided by bus. However, participants are free to leave the camp and go out at other times, as long as it does not disrupt the general functioning of the camp.
Swimming
It is only allowed to swim or surf in the designated zones and always under the supervision or guidance of lifeguards or monitors. It is strictly forbidden to enter the sea at night. Violation of this rule can lead to exclusion from the camp. Participants are responsible for both the arrangements and the cost of the return trip.
Participation in Activities and Surf Lessons
Participants are always expected to attend their surf lessons. BoardX also encourages participation in enjoyable and sportive activities and/or workshops during the afternoon. However, participants are free to organize their vacation as they wish, as long as it does not disrupt the general functioning of the camp.
Nighttime Noise
To ensure a good night's sleep for everyone, silence is requested at the camp from midnight to 8:30 a.m. This must also be respected at all times upon returning after a late-night activity.
Theft
To prevent theft, lockers with electrical outlets are provided at €5 per week. It is requested to store all items considered valuable in the locker at all times. The organization takes necessary measures and cannot be held responsible for theft. In case of theft, the parents of the perpetrator will be immediately informed. This can lead to immediate exclusion from the camp. Parents are responsible for the return trip, both in terms of responsibility and cost.
Respect for the Crew, Equipment, and Other Guests
To maintain a pleasant atmosphere at the camp, the organization requests that respect be shown at all times for the equipment and the crew. Respect for other camp members is also crucial for a good atmosphere at the camp.
